It's that time of year again! The Newport Mansions Wine & Food Festival is September 25-28, 2008. We went last year and had a great time! We plan to go again this year. Last year we were lucky enough to meet Kevin Zraly and he signed a copy of his latest edition of Windows on the World Complete Wine Course for us. The setting of the Grand Tasting on the lawn at the Marble House mansion is magnificent. If you live in the Boston area, don't miss this wine and food festival!See the schedule of events below.

Thursday, September 25:
- Kick off the weekend with special wine dinners at select Newport restaurants.
Friday, September 26:
- The first of 3 days of wine and culinary seminars by celebrity guests.
- A fabulous evening of Wine and Rosecliff, with delicious food, great wines, dancing and special surprises.
Saturday, September 27:
- More wine and culinary seminars by leading industry experts.
- Taste the finest wines from around the globe at the Grand Tasting on the lawn of Marble House.
- Guest auctioneer Kevin Zraly hosts the popular live international wine auction.
- Enjoy the new Celebrity Chef Cooking Tent--watch the chefs in action creating some of their famous dishes.
Sunday, September 28:
- New this year, a morning Jazz Brunch on the terrace of Marble House.
- Additional wine and culinary sessions by top speakers in the wine and food world.
- Also new this year, a second Grand Tasting day, to sample wines from 150 vintners.
- Enjoy an all new line-up of chefs at the Celebrity Chef Cooking Tent and take recipes home with you.
- Raffle drawing for a trip to the Caribbean donated by Wimco Villas.
