Valentines Day Dinner Options in New England

Getting away with your sweetheart or going out for a Valentine's Day dinner are great ways to celebrate this wonderful holiday. In my opinion, there is no better way to celebrate this holiday than to have a romantic dinner with candlelight and of course some great wine. Here in Boston and New England we have plenty of good choices to consider when dining out. I will share two options for your to consider.

In Boston, consider going to Smith & Wollensky's. They have a Prix Fixe meal planned for $75 per person. The cost includes appetizers, entrees, and dessert for two. See their menu for complete options. I am sure you will find something you both will enjoy amongst the options. The Delmonico Rib Steak for Two caught my eye. Pair this with the 2005 Turnbull Cabernet Sauvignon and have a great time!

If you are looking to completely get away for the weekend, head north to ski country and visit the beautiful Mountain View Grand Resort and Spa.
The Mountain View Grand will be celebrating the holiday this year with a special Valentine’s Getaway Package as well as a five-course Valentine’s Day feast in their Crystal Ballroom presented by Executive Chef Shane Queiros. The menu includes items like a five-spice cauliflower soup, oysters on the half shell, and poached Maine lobster tail with braised king crab legs in a sherry garlic pan sauce. You can see their complete menu on their website. The price for dinner is $70 per person. But as I said above, you should probably make it an entire weekend getaway. Ask about the Valentine's Day Getaway Package. It includes champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries, a 50-minute massage, and much more.

Have fun and enjoy this special holiday with your lover!

Cheers,
Ken
