There are two things I really enjoy, coming together on a single day this summer. Those two things are Horse Racing at Saratoga and a Wine Tasting. How can you beat that? Well winning would help. Anyway, if you are heading to the Summer Place to Be, you should consider going on Friday, August 6th for the Galloping Grapes event at the Saratoga Race Course. Here are the details.Galloping Grapes: A NY Wine Event will feature approximately 30 wine and food vendors from throughout New York State and give you the chance to buy products for your summer parties.
All proceeds from this event go to benefit the Classroom Enrichment Program and The Times Union Hope Fund. The Classroom Enrichment Program provides teachers and students in the Capital Region with newspapers and other learning tools to help them reach the New York State educational standards. The Times Union Hope Fund works with local after-school and summer programs to help at-risk students have more opportunities to participate in these programs.
