Nantucket Wine Festival This Weekend

If you are looking for a terrific wine excursion this weekend, head out to Nantucket for the 16th Annual Wine Festival. The weather looks like it will be really nice.  This event is always a big hit and generally sells out.  There will be some of my favorite vintners there this weekend.  Be sure to visit Joseph Carr, John Duval, Tom Eddy, Merry Edwards, Ernst Loosen, and Peter Merriam. I am sure they will be pouring some of their best highly rated wines.

The Grand Tasting is in he heart of Nantucket at the Nantucket Yacht Club. Over 200 wineries will converge upon Nantucket during the weekend of May 19 and 20, 2012.

There will be three sessions of the Grand Tasting. They are:

Saturday, May 19 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm
Saturday, May 19 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Sunday, May 20 from Noon to 3:00 pm
